Does anyone have so many iPhone apps that they can't even remember what they have or where the apps are?! Aiyiayia! That would be me. 

I'm so excited now. We went to take a quick stroll through one of the venues my gf suggested this weekend after dimsum. It was beautiful in fall. I can imagine it being even more glorious in the summer. Our wedding pictures will be gorgeous there! They had another event going on so no one was able to acually walk me thru the place but it was open to the public (arts and craft sale event) so we were able to stroll thru and around the facility. It's a little hidden cove among the hustle and bustle going on around it. It's nestled among a huge mall but gives an amazing quiet ambiance the moment you walk into it. It's such a wonderful treasure find!

I've been looking online for the last week everynight to find venues to visit but haven't had too much luck. We're on a tight budget for our wedding so I have specific dollars in mind when I'm looking. It's been hard to find a reasonable location which provides the appeal I want but won't break the budget. Plus we're planning to have a smaller scale wedding so don't need such a big place like some of the venues have. But smaller venues tend to be less appealing so far that i've seen. :/ until this spot anyway. I'm hoping to get a hold of the manager tomorrow to set up an actual meeting to go thru the place and discuss details and if all looks good, reserve it. :D

If that goes as plan then onwards to catering, decorations and dresses. Whee!

Hmmm it isn't as interactive as the myspace or facebook apps but I suppose it does its purpose to quickly post on here. :/ I would prefer that we could read and see what people write even if only within our own journals only. Hopefully they'll upgrade and make it better. But I digress from what I originally wanted to post about.

Planning for a wedding this coming Spring or Fall is a lot more work than I thought. No wonder brides get all worked up. There's so much more things to consider than I thought there would be. I thought .. Hey, we just have to decide how many people, what kind of wedding we want and then budget and find a place within our budget. But in discovering there are all these small misc. Other things that need to be considered and factored in too. The dress, bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, decorations, floral arrangements, party favors, parents, etc. Man isn't this suppose to be a time for good times and not frustration time? And holy buckets it's costing a lot already so why are there all these other additional costs that the couple is having to spend on too? Hmm good thing we've a mixed background so we'll be having a mixed wedding incorporating a little of all culture. It's Asian style baby haha. But I'm still clueless so I'll have to start learning and decide on what w're incorporating and what we're not depending on budget and culture. Whew.
